I have a question about birth control. 19 days ago I got an IUD placed in by my OB. I didn't know I was supposed to wait 7 days to have unprotected sex so I had to buy plan B the day after I got my IUD. I started my period the next day after taking plan B. And 17 days later I am still bleeding. I was spotting very lightly for 3 days but today I started bleeding again. Does this sound normal or should I go to ER? I don't have any cramping or any other symptoms. I am worried that the IUD might have moved. Anybody have prolonged bleeding after Mirena or Plan B?
